Laptops are the bomb.. just don't say that when boarding an airplane.. LOL. Kidding aside, I've been a big fan of laptops for several years now. It started when I became an over the road truck driver and couldn't take my desktop computer with me easily. I learned about wireless broadband cards from several providers like sprint and verizon from veteran drivers I met during the training process.

I purchased the laptop I'm using now for a buck less than 600 dollars.

The only addition I made was a wireless keyboard and mouse. I found it difficult to get used to the touch pad and the laptop keyboard, so the new wireless keyboard is a duplicate of my old desktop keyboard.

Anyway, those of you with out dated desktops, there's a lot of cool things about the convenience of having a laptop you may want to take into consideration in your next computer purchase.
